About the Authors Ella Berthoud studied English Literature at Cambridge University, where she read as many novels as she could at once. She continued her higher education in Fine Arts from the University of East London. Ella is based out of West Sussex with her husband and three daughters. Susan Elderkin is an English author best known for writing Sunset Over Chocolate Mountains and The Voice. Her debut novel was shortlisted for the Orange Prize for Fiction and won a Betty Trask Prize. She was one of Granta Magazine's 20 Best Young British Novelists in 2003 and won the 2007 Society of Authors Travel Award.
