Malachy Doyle began his career as a children's writer in 1996 and met with immediate success, having 13 books accepted for publication within the year. Much of Malachy's inspiration comes from tales told to him as a child by his mother. He passionately believes that you are never too young, too old or too wise to enjoy and to learn from these stories. Niamh Sharkey, an award-winning Irish illustrator.
