Award-winning author Stella Blackstone has written many of Barefoot's best-selling titles, including the Bear series, the Cleo the Cat series and My Granny Went to Market. Sunny Scribens is a picture book editor and author. She has also written Space Song Rocket Ride for Barefoot Books. She lives with her husband and young daughter, who provided much inspiration for Baby's First Words. Christopher Corr is a painter and illustrator based in London. He travels the world painting people, colorful places and beautiful buildings. Since studying at the Royal College of Art, he has painted in numerous locations for exhibitions, commissions and publications. His travels include India, Cuba, Tunisia, Peru, Tahiti, Australia, the Comoros Islands, New York, Los Angeles and London. Corr has illustrated other popular Barefoot titles including My Granny Went to Market and Off We Go to Mexico.
