Laurie Krebs draws inspiration for her books from her adventures around the world. She is a former teacher from Connecticut, USA, and a mother and grandmother. She is the author of many globe-trotting titles for Barefoot Books, including We All Went on Safari and Off We Go to Mexico! Julia Cairns began her career as a fine artist when she moved to Botswana where she worked for nine years.
